Company Picnic

A few Sundays ago we all went to Dan's company picnic. It was at Sandy Point Beach again and we had a blast. The pavilion that they rented was right next to the playground this year. We spent a lot of time there! Quinn made some friends, ate yummy food, and got to hit a pinata!

Mike is one of our dearest friends. He was there for us when we first had Quinn. He was the only person that I trusted to watch Quinn when she was under 6 months. He would come over after work so that Dan and I could go to the gym together for an hour or two. He also would stop by randomly and bring us groceries. Mike has helped us more recently with installing our front door and plaster removal in our bathroom. If you can't tell, I just love him. He actually is partially responsible for getting Dan and I together. (I'll save that story for another day) In this picture he is with his nephew and sister.

Funny Girl

Today in the bath Quinn was laying down "floating" and I was rinsing her hair. As I squeezed the warm water out of a washcloth and on her hair she said, "Ahhhhh, this is-a life!"

Aden's Birthday

Last weekend we went to Aden's birthday party. He turned 5.

He also had a pony at his party... how cool it that!?!?

and Aden followed us the whole time talking to me and Quinn. He is simply adorable.

Quinn and Jordan were having a ball! They played some form of cops and robbers game with a bubble gun and hula hoops! hah.

Then we had a yummy cake and he opened his presents!

On our way home we say THIS! The guys was so cool and he let us take a picture at the stop light. I don't know who thought it was cooler, Dan or Quinn! hah

Labor Day

On Labor Day we went to my Dad and Annette's house. We had a feast of crabs,turkey burgers, homemade mac -n cheese, baked beans and more.

Quinn was lucky and got crab picked for her by her Grandma and Grandpa

Dad and Annette have this fountain on their deck. Quinn loves to play in it.

This time she played a little too much and got wet. We had to change outfits. Good thing I come prepared!

Quinn really has warmed up to Grandpa. Do you see her grabbing his ears?? That is what she does to Dan on our walks! haha

Quinn just loves the dogs. While there are two, Zelda and Zana, Quinn just calls them both Zana.

Quinn sure does love her Grandma and Grandpa!

notice the card in Quinn's hand?? It is a Little Mermaid birthday card that my Mom sent me. It plays music. Quinn loves "her Ariel bookie". The car ride to Dover was filled with her opening and closing the card. It was lovely.

Annette made me my favorite birthday cake. (yellow cake with chocolate icing!)

I think it might be Quinn's favorite too!

Trip to PA 1: Rachel's Graduation!!

My sister (in-law) graduated from her LPN program in August. She worked really hard to reach this goal. Not only was she in this nursing program but she also worked full time at Lancaster General Hospital's ER. She was a wife and a mother of 4!

Dan took the day off to make sure that he would be able to watch Rachel's graduation. While she complained about the outfits, I think that they are so cute! I do have to admit though, it was super hard to take any decent pictures in the dark auditorium.
