So I decided that I would post this. It will help you all visualize what is going on in Quinn. Her one side is only a grade 2. Her other side is grade 4. If it was grade 5, she would have to have immediate surgery. Luckily for us, it isn't. (In case you can't tell, the tube thing is her ureter and the oval thing is her kidney and the black stuff is the urine going backwards from the bladder) :)

interesting...
I'm a visual person so it helps me understand better.

And BTW...you and I BOTH thought we be the cousins of only children. Never in a million years did I think I'd be where I am. It was definitely NOT my plan! I think I'm still shocked to find myself here!!!! And since I think you and I have had the only c-sections on our side of the family...I know you can understand part of why I was DONE! But alas...God has other plans I guess!

Still praying for Quinn!!!

It helps me too to see these pictures, although Elsie's doc showed them to us too a while back. Scarey stuff. How's her UTI?

Gosh Michele...how does this even happen? Something underdeveloped? I really hope the doctors can figure out what is best for her and how to get her better.

Thanks for the diagram. It helps the nontech people like myself. I am sorry you and Dan both caught the "bug". We continue to pray for you and your sweet daughter.
I loved being there with your mom and Rich. Quinn finally realized that she likes me. :-) She is so fun to watch and to listen to. I love her "dreams". So cute. Love you three!

I don't get too much time to be on the computer so I was behind in checkin in on your blog. She's a trooper and has been through a lot and will get through this, but no fun... but she is absolutely adorbale. Keep us updated. Love you!!
