The teacher had binoculars to make and kites too but Swiper the Fox swiped the kites.
So Quinn made her binoculars to use while searching for Swiper and the missing kites.

then lastly to sticky sand...
then they used their binoculars to find Swiper the Fox and the kites that he "swiped"
Then she made her kite.
