I have a new favorite food. The other night I made a vegan and organic version of Mac and "cheese". (Don't worry, I made Dan some with crab in it!) It actually turned out pretty good. But, my favorite part of making it was the Pasta!! I got Tinkyada's organic brown rice pasta penne. It is just my new favorite thing ever.
First of all, it is Cholesterol-Free, Wheat-Free, and Gluten-Free. It is low fat, low sodium, and a great source of fiber. They even have a special way of cooking that is "energy saving". Ok, so that part made me laugh a little too but you end up just boiling it for two minutes and then removing it from the heat and covering the pot for 20 minutes. At the end of the 20 minutes, the noodles taste perfect... just like normal noodles.
