Aunt Carolyn's Birthday!

This weekend Dan, Quinn and I went to celebrate Aunt Carolyn's BIRTHDAY!! It was great to see everyone. Quinn had a wonderful time running around the house and trying to break stuff! haha

Does Anyone Want to Cry??

Dan and I rent one movie a month. Last month Dan picked "The Golden Compass". It was really exciting and fun. This month, I got to pick. I chose "P.S. I Love You".

While Dan doesn't love girly movies, he is a champ and lets me pick them from time to time. I must say, I enjoy a good cry. This movie... is a great cry. I probably started crying within the first 15 minutes or so. I think the whole idea of losing the one person that is truly meant for you is just... well just devastating. I realize that this movie isn't artsy, deep or even really funny. It is however a great reminder to hold that hug a little longer and to truly appreciate the one that you have chosen to be with forever.

Clarkland Farm

Today we went to a petting farm and had SO MUCH fun. I think that this is where we are going to have Quinn's 2nd birthday party! I have a billion adorable pictures... so bare with me!

Here Quinn is feeding some GOATS! Boy, she LOVED LOVED LOVED them!

Then we went and saw some pigs, an emu, a pony and a donkey.

Then Quinn and Daddy fed a few sheep! The first picture is her trying to sneak a peak around the corner at the sheep. HOW CUTE?!?!?

Then Mommy and Quinn went and visited "Mother Goose" and the "3 Bears' Cottage"

We ended things off visiting "Willie the Whale" and "The Ugly Duckling"

We seriously had a blast and we didn't even do a pony ride or a hay ride. It was a little hot and we were all melting. Next time we go we will though! In the fall they have pumpkin picking! Can't wait!!!

Water Lily

I just LOVE this girl and she probably LOVES the water just as much. Doesn't she look so grown up? What am I going to do when she is a big girl?!?! :(

New Favorite

I have a new favorite food. The other night I made a vegan and organic version of Mac and "cheese". (Don't worry, I made Dan some with crab in it!) It actually turned out pretty good. But, my favorite part of making it was the Pasta!! I got Tinkyada's organic brown rice pasta penne. It is just my new favorite thing ever.

First of all, it is Cholesterol-Free, Wheat-Free, and Gluten-Free. It is low fat, low sodium, and a great source of fiber. They even have a special way of cooking that is "energy saving". Ok, so that part made me laugh a little too but you end up just boiling it for two minutes and then removing it from the heat and covering the pot for 20 minutes. At the end of the 20 minutes, the noodles taste perfect... just like normal noodles.

My Diva

Quinn got this new outfit from her G&G VS. They came up and visited with us this weekend. We went to Ellicott City and had a great lunch and then went window shopping a little bit! We had lots of fun and THANK YOU DAD AND ANNETTE for her cute clothes!

This Sunday, the weather was perfect. There was a nice breeze and hardly any humidity. We enjoyed many hours outside in the pool, sprinkler and had a water fight!

One day last week when it was raining, Quinn and I went to a little mall play area. They had this Bob the Builder ride and Quinn was so jealous of the other kids that got to ride it. So I decided to let her have a turn once the other family was done. She was not too sure of it. I think it looked like more fun than it was. She got too scared to stay on. We did stay there and watch other kids for quite a while though. She is so sweet and fun.

Bikini Babe

Here are some new pictures from the other day. It was a little chilly so I hardly put any water in her pool. I didn't know how long she was going to want to stay in there. She didn't care that it was a little brisk and she didn't care that she was practically sitting in a puddle. Any water = Super fun time for Quinn!
