Drained

I am in the end of my final semester. I have final projects, tests, and speeches out the bum.
I took Quinn to a Mommy and Me this morning and then to the park for hours.
We just got home after being out for over 6 hours of play time.

I started reading my text and doing some homework while Quinn colored in the other room.
She asked me to come and play with her in the other room. I told her that I needed to try and get some work done today.
I overheard her saying "I never get to do anything..." under her breath.

Seriously??
Man, being a Mom really is one of the most unappreciated jobs.

Can you tell I am stressed a bit?
phew.

Totally underappreciated. Usually I'm cool with it. Today though, after we left Walmart with sour squirty stuff and a box of Fruity Pebbles in Molly's hand and she had a meltdown because all she got was a cheeseburger at McD...I had HAD it.

Good luck with all your school stuff, btw. You'll do great. You amaze me.

I am not looking forward to moments like this.... you are a great mom & Quinn will realize it some day (it took me quite a while to realize how wonderful my mom is).

Sorry you are so stressed, but just think...after this you are DONE! Whoo hoo! I am so proud of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet Michele..you and Dan are fantastic parents. I love the fact that you do so much with Quinn. no little child really appreciates his or her parents. The time will come when she will realize how very lucky she is. We are so,so, so proud that you are graduating (and with honors)Go Michel

Unappreciated but yet it is the most important job we ever do. Michele you are a role model for young mothers. You prove that you can go to school and still raise your precious gift. Quinn is a lucky girl to have you and Dan as her parents.

I love you all
