one step closer

So this semester is FINALLY over. I took 5 classes. What was I thinking?!?! Last semester I took 4 classes and I got a 4.0 . So I figured that I could handle a little more. WRONG! This semester has been completely taxing. I took accounting, economics, business law, organizational behavior, and operations management. I had such a heavy workload and even had to work during some of my precious weekends. Lesson learned, 4 classes OK, 5 not so much. Anyway, hallelujah this semester is DONE!

*********************************************************************************
Ok, so I thought I would update this a tad. I am currently a junior at University of Baltimore. My degree will be in Business Management. I have been going to school since 2001! crazy huh? I did take a year or two off and switch majors like 3 or 4 times. Lets see... I had early elementary education, special education and psychology all from Towson. Then in 2005ish I transferred to University of Baltimore and switched my major to business. So when I went to UB I already had like 70 or 80 credits and a good portion of upper level psych. classes, which all turned into just electives. I think that I will be happier working in the business field. I am too emotional to do psych. I have been lucky enough so far that I have been able to take most of my classes (from UB) online. Some of them I just have to go to campus to take the exams. It has really worked out well since I can plan my reading/studying/ and homework assignments around Quinn. I think that I have about 11 classes left or something like that. I was going to try and take a class this summer and then 5 classes the other two semesters but...
1. I am not going to put myself through the 5 class stress anymore
2. I am watching my friend's infant son until late August (when her daughter's daycare has an opening for him)

So I guess maybe a year and a half left? Who knows. but by that time... Quinn should be caught up and hopefully out of all of her therapy classes and maybe into a preschool thing of some sort.

Congrats Michele. How much school do you have left? What are you majoring in again? It is such a good feeling to get it behind you. I think it is awesome that you are finishing.

I'm so proud of you!!! You are inspiring! I can't believe you are able to juggle so much. I am glad you get a break though this summer to recharge and not have the school stress.

You really are amazing. You also can never get too much of an education (although it sounds like you may have done too much at one time) :) A year and a half left..that's nothing. it'll be over sooner than you think.

Go Shel! What a woman! I didn't know you were watching the baby this summer. Will you be watching the little girl as well? Love you!

no, Megan is in her daycare but they didn't have an opening for Jack until late August... which I might add that they never told Melanie until about a month ago... :( So, it will be me, Quinn and little man all summer long. I don't really mind too much except I wanted to be able to do more active things with Quinn since I won't be in school but we will make the best of it.
